Who has it, who doesn’t, what you do with it, and what options that affords you.
An extraordinarily candid personal account of the ups and downs wrought by money, We Need To Talk About Money allows writer and podcast host Otegha Uwagba to explore toxic workplaces she’s worked in and misogynist men she’s known.
She talks about about getting payrises (and how to ask for it) and getting evicted when money gets too tight and you’re at the mercy of a greedy landlord who hikes up your rent. Through her experiences and relationship with money, she explores being the child of immigrants, class, privilege, racism and beauty.

About the speaker(s):
Otegha Uwagba is the author of the Sunday Times Bestselling Little Black Book: A Toolkit for Working Women published in 2017 and Whites: On Race and Other Falsehoods in 2020. She is also a speaker, brand consultant and founder of Women Who, a London-based multi-media platform aimed at creative women that operated from 2016 – 2020. She also hosts the culture and ideas podcast In Good Company.

Covid-19 requirements: The space is well ventilated, and will only be sold to half capacity. Attendees will be encouraged to wear a face covering whilst moving around inside the venue.
Book signing: A book stall will be available at the venue, and book signing will take place after the event.
