Firsts: Liv Little and Nicola Dinan

Do you remember how it feels to fall in love for the first time? How it felt to be young and vulnerable and figuring out who you are alongside another person? Two first novels about first loves, by first-time authors, which we delighted in – and we’re sure you will too.

Liv Little’s debut novel, Rosewater, follows young, frustrated poet Elsie as she tries to stay afloat whilst navigating a shifting relationship with her best friend Juliet. Nicola Dinan’s debut novel, Bellies, centres on the relationship between university graduates Tom and Ming and how their connection fluctuates as they grow into themselves and in the wake of Ming’s transition.
